[ROM] Upgrading Sony Xperia S LT26i to Android 4.1.2 via Jelly Bean Official Firmware Laked

Sony has announced there will be an upgrade Jelly Bean for the Xperia S this year, but the user will still have to wait a long time while waiting for the newer devices before upgrading. If you do not want to languish waiting for the official update from Sony you can still upgrade your phone via leaked firmware version Android 4.1 for the Xperia S. .2 6.2.B.0.68
Despite being leaked version and still not really stable but it does not affect what is so great user experience. Pre-version has been rooted and installed busybox.

If you want to install this ROM version for its Xperia S please follow the instructions below:

  • Instructions below exclusively for Sony Xperia S LT26i , the application for other devices can lead to unwanted results.
  • Guide is for general reference, our guide will not guarantee correct operation of the particular circumstances.

Requirements:

  • Sony Xperia S LT26i has been unlockbootloader and install ClockworkMod Recovery.
  • Running on an android version of ICS Stock.
  • Backup all personal data such as contacts, communications, SMS, MMS, wifi password ...
  • Rechargeable battery for the device at least 60%
  • Download the file to your computer then:  LT26i_DooMLoRD_leak_JB-68.zip

Install Android 4.1.2 for Sony Xperia S:

Step 1 : Copy the downloaded file on the SD card of your phone.
Step 2 : Turn off the phone, disconnect the computer.
Step 3 : Boot the phone into recovery mode by pressing volume (-) 2 times when the word SONY boot.
Step 4 : In CWM Nandroid to create a backup for the current ROM version: Backup and Restore> Backup.
Step 5 : In CWM select mounts and storage and select the folder unmount / system
Step 6 : Remove old data ROM version:
Wipe data / Factory reset> confirm
Wipe cache partition> confirm
Advanced> Wipe Dalvik Cache> confirm
Step 7 : In CWM select Install ZIP from SD card> Choose ZIP from SD card> choose the ROM file to the memory card copied in step 1 and select Yes to proceed with the installation.
Step 8 : Go back to the main menu select Reboot system now to reboot the phone. First boot may take longer than usual.

Amazing change in my phone!!!Faster and better :) i was in 4.0.4 and now is fantastic !!!!!
