Recently CyanogenMod development team continues to introduce new features fascinating HDR camera on his CM10.1 version, this feature has been known on some new high-end phones launched recently as Nexus 4. HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a new feature in the camera app, allowing you to get better pictures by continuous shooting 3 pictures under different exposure modes and then combine them to produce images perfectly.

However, unlike the Nexus 4, the hardware camera of the device is different so different on some devices may have some issues with HDR features. To overcome and best use HDR feature on CM10.1 to note the following:
  • Image quality depends heavily on motion and vibration while holding the machine, to capture the best photos to use racks.
  • The shooting of the motion picture devices specially configured low camera with camera with slow shutter speed open for quality might not be good.
  • The process will take continuous shooting 3 pictures so it will take longer time than normal.
  • After activation, 3 intermediate images will be deleted and only retain images were finally combined.
If you own a mid-range phone with good camera and high-end, high-speed shutter is open HDR is an ideal feature for the perfect photograph.
