Methods of converting files between the Galaxy S4 and Computer

You can transfer music files, videos, pictures and documents between your computer and Galaxy S4 phone via USB cable connection or using software Samsung Kies.

Method 1: Drag and drop - using USB cable

1. First, you need to download and install the USB drivers for the Galaxy S4 in the Windows operating system.
2.  On the S4 Galaxy phone and press Applications> Settings> Wireless and network> USB utilities.
3. Galaxy S4 Connect to your computer with USB cable.
4. On the screen appears the Galaxy S4 bulletin board display 3 connection mode, click on the option "USB mass storage".
5. After a successful connection is made, the Galaxy S4 is connected to the computer.
6. You will see the Galaxy S4 memory on the computer screen as a portable data drive. If you have installed the card MicroSD , MicroSD card will show up as an external drive Monday.
7. Open Explorer window on the computer and find this data to two drives. You can transfer music files, videos and pictures between Galaxy S4 and PC by drag and drop.

Method 2: Use the Samsung Kies software
You can also connect your phone to your computer Galaxy S4 using the Samsung Kies software.Kies desktop software allows Samsung official transfer music, pictures, contacts and phone software updates from your computer to your phone Samsung Galaxy . The software interface is user-friendly.

1. To connect Kies Air from Galaxy S4, click Applications> Kies Air> Start.
2. You will be asked to connect to a Wi-Fi if not connected, or turn Wi-Fi hotspot features of your computer. Note: Phone and computer (Windows or Mac) to the same Wi-Fi network.
3. Kies Air will display a URL. Enter this URL into the browser of your computer web.
4. On the Galaxy S4, click "Allow" to allow access to the device.
5. Perform actions download or manage files from the web interface on a desktop browser.
6. Once finished, click "Stop" on the phone.
