Update version SCH-I535 Galaxy S3 to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean

In the latest update, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean has added many new features and you should start downloading. As we all know, is not the official version of Android 4.3 ROM for S3, so we'll have to use a custom ROM. CM10.2 aka CyanogenMod is a custom ROM 10.2 provides you with bloatware free AOSP like experience but with plenty of customization and control. If you want toinstall Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the SCH-I535 Galaxy S3 please read the following article for reference.

Before installing this ROM, you should check and perform the following steps to ensure the safety of equipment and data.
  • Backup data devices.
  • Check the battery to make sure devices are above 60%. If the installation is to be carried out.

Install ROM

  1. Connect your phone to your computer with USB cable.
  2. Download and coppy files to the SD card of your phone. Note: do not extract file.
  3. Disconnect the USB and then turn off your phone.
  4. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery
  5. Create a Nandroid backup ROM to ROM later if desired inactive or not in use, you can update back to the old ROM.
  6. Proceed delete data. Select "Wipe data / factory reset", then select "Yes" in a display. Wait a few minutes to clear the data. Now return to the main menu CWM Recovery. Select "wipe cache partition" and after the deletion process is done, select "Wipe Dalvik cache" option at the bottom to Wipe Dalvik cache.
  7. Choose "install zip from sdcard", then select "choose zip from sdcard". Seek file "-10.2-cm-nightly-d2vzw.zip 20,130,819" and press the "Power" button to select. Confirm installation by selecting Yes - Install _____. Zip on the screen next. ROM will automatically install.
  8. After completing the ROM installation process, repeat the step 7 but choose gapps-jb-file-signed.zip 20,130,813 instead of ROM zip to install the Google apps package.
  9. Go to the main menu of Recovery and select "reboot system now" to reboot your phone and boot into Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ROM customized CM10.2. First time boot will take time so please wait.
  10. If you do not want to use this ROM anymore, but moved to the old ROM you need to boot into recovery, select "backup and restore" and restore your ROM with further instructions.
