news just arrived to Sony Xperia Z C6602 users that they can update Android
4.2.2 Jelly Bean firmware v10.3.1.A.2.67 for their phone. Android 4.2.2 Jelly
Bean firmware v10.3.1.A.2.67 is supposed to have better efficiency and security

Xperia Z that was launched this year is one of the senior Sony’s
phones. It seems to be the dream of a lot of people due to water proof,
intelligent dustproof, quad-core 1,5 GHz Krait, Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB RAM,

can update new version through OTA, Sony PC Comparison for Windows or Sony

instructions below.

Preparations
for installing:

Backup
all data
·
Make
sure phone battery is higher than 80%
·
Make
sure you have USB Driver for Xperia Z C6602
·
USB
Debugging is active before installing
Update
Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for Xperia Z C6602 through OTA
·
Check if you have safe and stable network.
·
Turn on your device, go to Drawer Android
application and select Setting.
·
Look at the system below Setting, type About phone
·
Choose Software update in About phone
·
You will see update version and press OK
·
It will be restarted when update finishes
·
If you see “he latest updates have already been
installed”, you need to wait until Sony update OTA
Update Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for
Xperia Z C6602 through Sony Companion/Bridge

Make
sure you have stable network
·
Download
and install Sony Companion for Window and Sony Bridge for Mac on PC
·
Turn
on your phone and connect it to PC by USB gate
·
Open
Sony Companion/ Sony Bridge on PC and wait until they find your phone
·
You
should see New Firmware Upgrade on Sony Companion/ Sony Bridge
·
Press
on “New Firmware Upgrade” to start
·
Follow
the instructions on the screen to download and install the software. Don’t stop
connecting you phone now
·
The
phone will be upgraded and restarted
·
When
the phone is finished restarting, you check for device firmware by getting in
Settings > About phone > Android & Baseband version
·
If
you see “Your phone/tablet is up to date” on Sony Companion/ Sony Bridge, you
need to wait until Sony Mobile upgrade through Sony Companion/ Sony Bridge.
