Requirements:-

  • Rooted Samsung Galaxy Y (Check Here: How to Root Samsung Galaxy Y)
  • Make sure you backup all your data.
  • Backup your SMS and contacts.
  • Also make sure that your phone is charged at least 80%.
  • Disable your anti virus if you have any.
  • Set Debugging Mode on through Settings > Developers and hen check the box.
  • Make sure that you are on Stock kernel.(The kernel that came while buying the phone).
  • If you are not on Stock kernel then you have two options, either flash stock kernel or open the JELLYBLASTV3.signed.zip on your PC and then delete boot.img from it.
  • Remove Second partition if you have.

Installation:-

  1. Move JELLYBLASTV3.signed.zip to your SD card.
  2. Switch off your phone.
  3. Go to recovery mode(Check here: How to Install ClockWorkMode on Samsung Galaxy Y)
  4. Press the Home button, Power button and the Volume Up button and keep holding it until the Samsung logo appears.You will see that some writings have come in red color.This is called the Recovery Mode.
  5. Select wipe data/factory reset
  6. Wipe data and cache and Dalvik cache
  7. Select Install zip from sd card
  8. Choose JELLYBLAST V3.signed.zip and select yes.
  9. Wait for some time.
  10. Now reboot your phone. First boot will take time.Be patient.
