Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 with Xperia Z Themed Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean ROM

The Samsung Galaxy Grand is a luxury smartphones by Samsung uses the Android operating system. It has a touch screen 5-inch and 8 MP Primary Camera and 2 MP Secondary Camera. It is powered by 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

balliboxer-developer at XDA posted a Xperia Z themed custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos GT-I9082.Here is a complete tutorial on how to Install Xperia Z ROM on your Samsung Galaxy Grand i9082.

Requirements :-

• Check your model number.It should be i9082.
• Make sure that you have latest CWM or TWRP recovery.
• Make sure you backup all your data.
• Backup your SMS and contacts.
• Also make sure that your phone is charged at least 80%.
• Set Debugging Mode on through Settings > Developers and then check the box.

Installation :-

• Download the ROM from here and move it to your SD card.
• Make sure you backup your data and follow the necessary installation steps.
• Reboot your device into recovery mode. (volume up+ menu + power )
• Full data wipe (factory reset)
• Then go to “advanced” and wipe cache and dalvik cache
• go to “mounts and storage” and format system to Format the system partition (If you have any).
• Select Install Zip from SD card and  then Select the ROM and install it.
• After installation perform following operations :-

        -Wipe Cache partition
        -Advanced > Wipe dalvik cache
        -Reboot the device

• Install Google Apps package using same method.
• Reboot your device and Enjoy.
