When I
instruct to uprom any HTC’s Android phones, I always repeat how to unlock
bootboader eventhough all HTC phones have the same instructions to unlock
bootloader.
Therefore, this article helps the HTC fresh users to unlock
bootloader.
Note: After
unlocking bootloader, all the datas and softwares in the phone will be losen,
you need to save them before unlocking.
Steps:
2. Download Fastboot Files. Extract
files and copy fastboot file into C Drive (C:\fastboot).
3. Start accessing to website http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader/ and follow the instruction. First,
you choose "All Other Supported Models" and press "then begin
unlock bootloader".
4. Keep pressing Ok or next when you see
the the using terms
5. Step 1 to 4 is to remind you how to
active Fastboot, then you connect your phone to computer.
6. Ignore step 5 to 7 and follow step 8.
7. Keep Shift and click right, menu will
be shown this sentence"Open command window here", click that sentence
to run CMD window.
8. Typefastbootoemget_identifier_token
in your new window, you can see a lot of characters.
9. Copy from <<<< Identifier
Token Start >>>> to<<<<< Identifier Token End

Paste
them into beyond HTC website. Press Submit.

Done. Check your email to receive file Unlock
_code.bin.
After
receiving Unlock_code.bin file, you click to the link in the email or you can
follow this instruction:
CopyUnlock_code.binfile
into your folder c:\fastboot
In folder
c:\fastboot, Press Shift and click right, menu will be shown "Open command
window here", Click there to run CMD window.
In your new
window, type fastboot flash unlocktokenUnlock_code.bin.
After that,
your phone will be shown the confirmation; you can use volume and Power to
choose Yes answer. In some circumstances, your phone does not be shown this
window, it means that Unlock file is not suitable to it, You need to repeat
beyond instructions again until it shows the window confirmation.
