How to unbrick Samsung Galaxy S2T989 of T – Mobile on Windows

I feel very sad when my Samsung galaxy S2 is dead ( it does not power on anymore) and I can not fix it. It means that my phone is lack of Boot, or Bricking. Fortunately, unbricking your phone is so easy now and it takes you 10 minutes to do it. Bricking happens because of core attributes.

We have no idea how to avoid bricking because it is the random. The report show that bricked phone happens frequently on Samsung than the other suppliers. When it happens, your internal memory will be deleted.

1.    Download Drivers for Samsung Galaxy S2T989. In order to have Drivers, you just need to Download Samsung Kies. (Keep this step if your phone already had Samsung Kies).
2.    Download and Extract unbrickwii file

3.    Open Odin.
4.    Connect your phone to PC and turn off your phone.
5.    Get in Recovery Mode: keep Up Volume + Down Volume + Power button. When you feel a light vibrant, relinquish Power button and keep Volume Up and Down. Continue keeping them until you see a yellow triangle.
6.    Click on that yellow triangle.
7.    Click on Odin of PDA and open recovery file -cmw-hercules.tar ( they are included in “Unbrick.zip” file)
8.    Click on Start and wait for 2 -5 minutes until the phone restarts.
9.    When you see the screen of your phone, wait 10 minutes, restart and start using your phone.
10.    Turn on and lock your phone’s screen. Congratulation, it takes you only 10 minutes to unbrick Samsung S2T989.
